We check the checkable facts in your document against authoritative registries. We tell you what we confirmed, what we corrected, what we couldn't verify, and — importantly — how much of your document we were able to check at all. If we mark something verified and it turns out we were wrong against its source of record, you get your money back. Our liability is capped at what you paid us. We don't keep your document.
Everything below says the same things more carefully.
AttestAlly is a post-hoc document verification service operated by AI II Consulting LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, trading as AttestAlly ("we", "us").
You submit a document. We extract the factual claims we can check, resolve each against an authoritative source of record (for example CourtListener for case law, SEC EDGAR for filed financial figures, PubMed and ClinicalTrials.gov for medical literature, Crossref for scholarly works), and return a certificate recording the result of each check together with an audit trail.
No honest verification system is perfect, and we say so on the front page. Our verdicts are as good as the registries behind them and the checks we ran, on the date we ran them. A verdict binds to a snapshot of a registry at a moment in time; registries change, and a claim verified today can be invalidated by a retraction tomorrow.
What we do guarantee is the shape of our failures: we are built to abstain rather than guess. When we cannot resolve something, we say so rather than producing a confident answer nobody checked.
If a claim we marked verified was wrong against the source of record we cited, as of the verification date shown on your certificate, we refund your fee for that document in full. Tell us within 90 days and point us at the claim. We'll re-run the check against the stored evidence, and if we got it wrong, we refund. No argument.
To be clear about the boundaries, because a guarantee with hidden edges isn't one:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to a document — in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise — is limited to the fees you actually paid us for that document.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, however caused, even if we were told such damages were possible.
You remain responsible for your own document. If you are filing it with a court, a regulator, a journal, an investment committee or anyone else, that filing is yours. A certificate is evidence that we checked what we say we checked. It is not a warranty of your document, and it does not transfer your professional obligations to us.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Price is quoted before you pay, based on the number of checkable claims we found in your document. Documents of 1,000 words or fewer are free. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. The certified document and its audit trail are released on payment.
You keep every right you have in your document. You give us a licence to process it for the sole purpose of performing the verification you asked for, and for no other purpose. You confirm you are entitled to submit it, and that doing so does not breach anyone's rights, confidence, or privacy.
Do not submit special-category personal data — health records, biometric or genetic data, or anything similar — or classified material, or anything subject to an obligation you cannot lawfully discharge by sending it to us.
Don't use AttestAlly to launder a document you know to be false into something that looks certified, to misrepresent what a certificate says, or to break the law. We may refuse or stop work on any document.
Either of us may stop using or providing the service at any time. We may change these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date, and they won't apply retroactively to a certificate already issued. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, and the courts of Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction — except that either of us may seek injunctive relief wherever necessary.
That isn't a policy position; it's how the software is built. Your document is held in memory inside a 24-hour window: while you preview it, while you decide, while the verification runs, and afterwards so that you can ask for a re-run or raise a query. Every uploaded document is deleted 24 hours after upload, in every case and whatever the state of the job. The certificate itself is delivered to you and then deleted. What survives a run is anonymous signal that improves the system — never your content — plus one small record we do keep: a text-free attestation (the document’s cryptographic fingerprint, the verdict counts, and the audit-chain head, containing none of your words), so that the fact a verification happened can be proven later even though the content is gone.
We do not train models on your document, and we do not sell it, share it, or use it for any purpose other than the verification you asked for. The extraction stage runs on our own hardware — your document is not sent to any third-party AI provider. The system does improve with use, but from two sources only: public facts about public records (that a DOI is that paper, that a citation is that case — information that was never yours), and the anonymous aggregate signal described above. Neither carries your content.
Performing a verification means asking public registries about the identifiers in your document — for example, asking CourtListener whether a citation resolves. Those queries contain the identifier, not your document and not your identity. We also use Stripe for payment and a hosting provider for infrastructure.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to processing. Write to andre@alphainception.com. Note the honest limits: we do not keep your original document, and once a deliverable has been collected and its retention window has passed, we cannot re-send it, because it no longer exists.
